Lamoille County Field Days is looking forward to a great year this year. Due to circumstances beyond our control, last year wasn’t exactly a banner year for any of us. We appreciate those of you who are going to give it another go this year. Without our vendors, our fair would not be what it is. You make it successful for us year after year.
Since we are a non-profit group, we understand the need to raise money, recruit volunteers, and get your name out in the community. Hoping to attract more organizations, we have initiated a policy several years ago for non-profit groups.
We have had problems in the past several years with groups committing and not showing up or dis-mantling and leaving before the close of the fair on Sunday. This really creates havoc with our layout, deprives our Sunday patrons of a complete show, and decreases your organization’s exposure. We now require a $100 deposit to be sent in with your application, $50 of this deposit will be returned within 7 days after the fair, if all components of the contract have been met. If you were not set up on time, tore down early, or your booth was not manned the entire three days, the entire $100 deposit will be forfeited. Booths must be set up and ready to go by the opening of the fair at 8:00am on Friday July 28, 2017
Due to major safety concerns, all vehicles must be in designated parking spaces by 8:00 each day. No vehicles will be allowed on the grounds after this time.
The Board of Directors must approve all concessions before permission to participate is granted. We have a “do not compete” rule so that everyone is successful. If this is your first year, or you have made changes in your menu, we will need a description of what items you sell. A picture of your booth would be helpful also. If the Board does not accept your application, your deposit will be returned in full. Be specific with what products you see, and accurate with the dimensions of your booth. Please don’t write down “same as last year”. You will receive a confirmation once your application and deposit are received and approved.
Please understand that submitting an application does not secure your spot, once applications have been submitted they will be reviewed by the board and confirmation or explanation will be sent.
